Computer Illustration* 36-2320

This class explores the use of object-oriented graphics for illustration, graphic arts, and fine arts applications. Emphasis is on mastery of high-resolution graphics production using vector drawing and text tools.

Students will be able to...
  • Plan, develop and produce professional illustrations using Adobe Illustrator. 
  • Use the advanced features of Adobe Illustrator including methods of shading, creating patterns and use of the 3D tools. 
  • Use the principles of light and shadow to add realism to scenes 
  • Use the principles of perspective to create realistic indoor and outdoor scenes 
  • Learn creative work habits
