IAM Course Information

Interactive Advertising Campaign 36-2606

Student teams from the Marketing Communication Department and Interactive Arts & Media Department will conduct research, develop strategies, create concepts and produce interactive advertising campaigns for select products and services. The students will formally present their fully developed interactive campaigns and will have produced work for their portfolios

Prereqs: 36-1000 Media Theory and Design 1 C 36-2601 Authoring Interactive Media* C

Students will be able to...
  • Conduct secondary research and use the findings from primary and/or secondary research to justify the premise of an interactive campaign. 
  • Design, develop and document a professional interactive campaign using current technologies.  
  • Present and defend their work. 
  • Understand the importance of usability and accessibility in interactive media development, and perform user testing to evaluate interactive campaigns. 
  • Analyze specific marketing situations posed by an actual product or service. 
  • Demonstrate strategic findings/brand insight, along with an effective strategy as the formation of an interactive campaign to ensure ROI (return on investment).
