Experimental Imaging* 36-3300

Class explores 2D and 3D image processing, paint programs, and experimental approaches to image generation and output. Content emphasizes large projects, image sequencing possibilities, and exposure to contemporary work in visual digital media.

Students will be able to...
  • Become acquainted with contemporary art exhibition opportunities.  
  • Experiment with new technologies and traditional digital media to develop work.  
  • Gain ability in critical writing describing your new media art projects. 
  • Understand digital media contemporary artists.  
  • Develop a mature body of work consisting of three portfolio-quality projects.
