Interactive Arts and Media department Sound and Motion class presents :


Displayed on the lobby screens at the MPC. The students shot, assembled and rebuilt the streets of Chicago to digitally dismantle them. The entire class compiled footage of the Loop and, after editing by Rory McSweeney, ran them through a glitch generator coded by Graham P. Heath. The result pushes past video conventions through dirty data play to create an aesthetic of (dis) pleasing clips scattered with artifacts.
