Due: Week 9
Your class portfolio page should have a brief description of the project, a screenshot, and links to the project itself and to your documentation.
You will use what you have learned about information architecture to organize and display a set of images.
18 images (original media) within 3 categories (6 images in each category)
Media showcases should follow a micro-to-macro format (thumbnail showcase linked to large files, descriptive text-links to larger media files).
Images are properly formatted for web distribution (proper dpi, resized with an imaging program and not with XHTML, etc.)
Each section should have a brief description/backstory of the content.
Advanced presentation. Use CSS to create a unique design.
Pages must be valid XHTML
No functionality errors (for example, no broken links)
Documentation about your process (minimum of: initial proposal, a scan of your prototype/mockup, and credits)
Your documentation must be linked from your class portfolio site along with a link to the actual project (your documentation can be an XHTML/CSS page, a PDF file, or a DOC file). A mockup should be a 2D display on paper larger than 8.5x11, giving us enough of an idea of the site structure and design to facilitate feedback. Ink should be used, and all writing and sketches need to be legible. (See Paper Prototype article)
