Proposal and mock-up of  Project 3  Due today

  Phase 1:Gather and analyze user information
  Phase 2: Design the user interface prototype - Paper Mockup

Work on Phase 3 and Phase 4: Due week 13 (next week)

1. Phase 3: Construct the user interface
   • Follow general principles of design
   • Use the Gestalt principle for layout
2. Phase 4: Validate the user interface (iterative design process)
   • User testing again with 3 users
   • Document all their comments as they do several tasks
   • Document if they got lost or stuck anywhere while doing the task
   • Work out any bugs

Critique Project 3: Revised portfolio – due week 14

Create 4 documents to show during the PowerPoint final presentation of Project 3.

1. Gather user information through interviewing several people in the target group
2. Create at least one User Profile of the target audience
3. Scan in paper prototype used for initial user testing
4. Document at least 3 users comments made during testing and include the list of tasks assigned.
