Well, here I am. That interesting-looking (dare I say, sexy?) fella to your left is me, Khalil Ali Wehbi. I know you're thinking, "But wait, how can you possibly have a name like that? Just look at you!" Well, the answer to that prejudice question is: I am half Lebanese (the other half being a greater third of the European Union). For most of you that know me personally, I go by Kelly (or Weebs, to some). And in case you were going to remind me that Kelly is a girl's name, believe me, I know. It was a choice of my mom's (Khalil was my dad's choice) and I just got used to it. However, if you don't want to call me Kelly, feel free to call me Khalil (pronounced KUH-LEE-UHL), or Weebs, or Steve, or whatever you want.

Academic History

When I first started at Columbia College Chicago, I was a Screenwriting major, but quickly discovered the Film department was not for me. I have a passion for movies, but it's certainly not as great as my passion for video games. However, I really wasn't sure if I was one of those people who loved games, but wouldn't love making them. As it turns out, thankfully, I am not. So, now I am currently enrolled as a student of the Game Design major, with a concentration in Development. Before Columbia, I spent a year majoring in English at Saint Xavier University on the southwest side of Chicago. I think the day I realized I couldn't continue as an English major was in a Literary Interpretation class in which we spent almost an hour and a half discussing Frankenstein and its various interpretations, but never actually arrived at a conclusion about anything.
